We have all had times of discouragement.
Discouragement comes in so many shapes and sizes. Whether self-imposed or coming from things that are beyond your control, discouragement can be frustrating and heartbreaking. If anyone says they haven’t had discouragement, they are not being honest with themselves. Roadblocks, mistakes, hang ups, trip ups and falling flat on your face can be discouraging. However, just beyond the hard falls, scrapes, bruises and mud in the face, you will find great lessons. Whether in business or personal, we can be challenged and a lot of those challenges stretch us. Though painful, the stretch will grow us to be who God created us to be. It is always painful. Sometimes more than we could imagine. Sometimes more than we think we can withstand. But, He is always by our side and it is worth it.
When I experience a setback, God is already preparing my come back. Sometimes we just see the struggle. Look beyond that and have the end in mind. Be encouraged to press on.
Philippians 3:14. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
